Cross Country

The boys team had there best meet of the season.   Jordan Cash-Rawleigh took 5th, Tyler Smith 7th, Aaron Stewart 11th, Corey Sprague 14th, Torrin Lisi 16th.    All 5 of these young men were Livingston county all stars.    It’s a non - scoring team race, but we would have won if they scored it out of the 20 teams in the field and about 170 individual runners.  The meet is solely dedicated to selecting all stars for the league.  There are only 10 slots for all stars out of the 7 teams in our division and taking 5 of them is amazing!

Harley Mattison in the girls race had an amazing race placing 16th overall.    She missed being an all star by 3 seconds.

They compete  next Saturday November 7th at Victor high school.  The boys race is at 10am and the girls race is at 11am.

Coach Ludden was named Coach of the Year

Haverling High School senior Mackenzie Smith is one of just 24 soccer players from across the country selected to attend the US Soccer Under-19 Women’s National Team training camp, to be held October 3-10 in Carson, California. This honor recognizes Smith as an elite player in her age group and provides the opportunity to work with members of the national team’s coaching staff. All camp participants will be eligible to play on the team that will attempt to qualify for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup to be held in Papua, New Guinea.

Following graduation from Haverling in June 2016, Smith will play soccer at Clemson University, where she has earned academic and athletic scholarships. The Clemson women’s soccer team is currently ranked #3 in the country in the RPI poll and #7 in the Coaches poll.
